on Tuesday was Estonian indendence day and also it was release date for second Popidiot album "Antenna of love". it was released by Seksound. i can seriously say it is strong album, masterpiece of estonian synthpop. all killer, no filler! you can download for one week opening track, great example of indiedance, it sounds like big indie hit. also check out their myspace for other great songs, like first single "fridays revenge"

can estonian music get any better than that? looks like cult band Plixid has recorded decent versions of some of their hits, these are now at myspace. they are really young girls, playing instruments by themselves, helped by teacher, who is also playing bass on lives and recordings. their music has mixture of teen pop, witty lyrics and big influence of avant-garde 80s nyc post-punk scene. really, i'm not joking.
